The Holmes Family Heritage Site is a work in progress. There is much to add, much more to learn, and very likely, much to correct. Many have contributed images, articles, clippings, memories, stories and time. Most of all they've all contributed themselves to this endeavor.

Collectively we dedicate these pages to the memories of our predecessors, without whose lives, love of one another and each of us, we would never have been born. Indeed we owe to them our very existence. Let these pages do them the honor they deserve and render the respect they earned through their selflessness.

Please browse around, look at the faces. Look at yourself. Pick out the characteristics you recognize and enjoy your experience discovering who you are and from whom you are descended. Some of us knew many of these hard-working, home and family centered folks. Others perhaps, like the writer of these words, are making up for many lost moments when everyday life seemed more important than the sources of it.
